These 19Th century lanterns were in desperate need of restoration. The lanterns consist of forged iron components that were mechanically assembled. The project consisted of the restoration to 7 lanterns in 3 different sizes. All elements were first disassembled and sand blasted. Hand forged reproduction parts were furnished as needed. The globes were plexiglas that were sizes to fit in the frames. The lanterns were mechanically reassembled on site to complete the restoration.
